Roles and Responsibilities

Selected candidates will undertake various tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting faculty in research projects and experiments.
  • Working with large datasets to extract behavioral insights.
  • Organizing and running experimental studies.
  • Recruiting participants for experiments.
  • Providing administrative support for:
    • Conferences
    • Webinars
    • Seminars
    • Social media engagement and updates
Additional Responsibilities:

Candidates may also engage in tasks like data cleaning, analysis, and supporting the Centre’s overall functioning.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following qualifications to apply:

Educational Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in:
    • Economics
    • Statistics
    • Operations Research
    • Applied Mathematics
    • Computer Science (or related disciplines)
Preferred Candidates:
  • Those with a demonstrated interest in behavioral and experimental studies.
  • Aspiring Ph.D. candidates aiming for higher studies in management or related fields.

Required Skillset

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Proficiency in programming languages/software like MATLAB, Python, STATA, or R.
  • Prior experience in data cleaning and analysis.
  • Knowledge of econometric techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with experiment-building software such as E-Prime.
  • Experience with EEG and Eye Tracker data acquisition and analysis.

The tenure ranges between 4–12 months, depending on the candidate’s skills and performance. Extensions may be possible based on performance reviews.

Work Location

However, on-campus accommodation is not provided, and selected candidates must arrange their own housing.
