Age Limit

Educational Qualifications

  1. Essential Qualification:
    • A Master’s Degree (or an equivalent Oriental Degree) in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.).
  2. Desirable Qualification:
    • At least 3 years of teaching experience in the subject concerned at a College, Higher Secondary School, or High School level.

Important Instructions for Candidates Applying to the Combined Examination

Candidates applying for the Combined Examination must carefully review the following guidelines to ensure compliance with the Board’s requirements:

1. Provisional Acceptance of Applications

  • The Board conducts only a preliminary review of applications at the time of examination.
  • Candidature is provisional and does not guarantee eligibility for all cadres advertised.
  • Candidates must verify their eligibility based on educational qualifications, age, and experience as outlined in the advertisement.
  • Supporting documents will be reviewed during the e-dossier submission phase. Claims found false or unsubstantiated will lead to cancellation of candidature without notice.

2. Eligibility Criteria

  • The eligibility conditions, including educational qualifications, age, and experience, will be determined as of February 14, 2025.
  • The same date serves as the cutoff for benefits such as age relaxation, where applicable, subject to the latest DoPT guidelines.

3. Persons with Disabilities (PwBD)

  • Only candidates with benchmark physical disabilities are eligible for age relaxation or reservation under the PwBD category.

4. Application Submission

  • Candidates must submit only one online registration.
  • Multiple registrations will result in rejection of all applications, cancellation of candidature, and disqualification from future examinations conducted by the Board.
  • Similarly, only one application per post code is allowed. Multiple applications for the same post code will lead to disqualification.

5. Photograph and Signature Requirements

  • Upload a recent and clear photograph. Applications with blurred or illegible photographs or signatures will be rejected.

6. No Modifications Post-Submission

  • Requests for changes or corrections to submitted applications, including category changes, will not be entertained under any circumstances.
  • Such requests via post, email, or in person will also not be accepted.

7. Communication Details

  • Candidates must provide accurate and active email addresses and mobile numbers to ensure timely receipt of communications from the Board.
  • Regularly check the Board’s website for updates, as email and SMS notifications are supplementary services.

8. Legal Implications of Fraudulent Applications

Misuse of any dignitary’s name or photograph in fraudulent applications will result in legal action under cyber and IT laws.
