The Indian Council of Medical Research – Regional Medical Research Centre, North-East Region (ICMR-RMRCNE), Dibrugarh, is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of Consultant (Administration) and Consultant (Finance/Accounts) on a contractual basis.

Eligibility Criteria

A. Consultant (Administration)

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Option 1: Postgraduate degree in Management/Law/Public Administration/Economics or related fields.
    • Option 2 (For Retired Govt. Employees): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline + retired from Pay Level-7 or above.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in Administration/Audit/Legal matters in Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies.
  • Age Limit: 40 to 70 years.

B. Consultant (Finance/Accounts)

  • Essential Qualification:
    • Option 1: Postgraduate degree in Finance/Accounts/Commerce or CA/ICWA.
    • Option 2 (For Retired Govt. Employees): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline + retired from Pay Level-7 or above.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in Finance/Accounts/Audit in Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies.
  • Age Limit: 40 to 70 years.

Salary Details

  • Consolidated Remuneration: ₹1,00,000 – ₹1,80,000 per month (as per qualifications and experience).
  • For Retired Govt. Personnel: In accordance with the Office Memorandum issued by the Ministry of Finance, reference number. 3-25/2020-E.IIIA dated 09 Dec 2020.

Selection Process

  1. For Non-Retired Candidates:
    • Written Test (If more than 30 applicants): 50 MCQs (Qualifying marks: 40% for UR/OBC/EWS, 35% for SC/ST).
    • Interview: Top 10 candidates from written test will be called.
    • Final Merit: Based on written test (50%) + interview (50%).
  2. For Retired Govt. Employees:
    • Only Interview will be conducted.
