District Court Muzaffarnagar Recruitment 2025 – Judicial Magistrate Post Notification

The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Muzaffarnagar has invited operations for the post of Special Judicial Magistrate. This recruitment is being conducted as per the directive of the Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad. This is a significant opportunity for experienced government officials or legal professionals to serve in the judicial system. The appointment will be made under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• The candidate must hold a law degree from a recognized university,
  OR
• Possess special experience in legal matters.

Professional Background

• The applicant must be a serving or retired government officer.
• Must have served in a capacity involving legal, judicial, or related administrative responsibilities.

Other Requirements

• Should fulfill the conditions laid out under Section 11 of the BNSS, 2023.
• Should have a clean service record.
• Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) for the last five years are required (for government servants).

Pay Scale

The remuneration or honorarium for the Special Judicial Magistrate will be determined as per the norms prescribed by the High Court of Allahabad and the Uttar Pradesh government. The exact pay structure will be communicated upon appointment.

Selection Process

The selection will be made in the following stages:

2. Recommendation by District Judge – Eligible candidates will be recommended by the District Judge to the High Court.
3. Final Approval by High Court – The Hon’ble High Court, Allahabad will take the final decision on appointment.
