Eligibility Criteria
The post is open to Central Government employees and Armed Forces personnel on deputation or re-employment basis. The essential eligibility conditions include:
For Deputation/Absorption Basis (from Central Government officials):
- The applicant must be a regular incumbent of a post of analogous nature in their parent department’s sanctioned strength; or
- With 3 years of regular service in the post in the Pay Level 1 of the Pay Matrix or equivalent;
- Carrying an up-to-date driving certificate for cars.
- Understanding vehicle mechanics (capable of fixing minor car issues).
- Requires a minimum 3-year track record of driving motor vehicles.
- Having passed at least 8th standard from a recognized institution.
For Re-employment Basis (from Armed Forces Personnel):
- Armed Forces members approaching retirement or reserve transfer within 12 months, possessing the required qualifications and experience outlined above, may be considered.
- The appointment will be on a re-employment basis, and if selected, the individual will be appointed only after retirement or transfer to reserve.
Age Limit:
- Appointments through deputation/re-employment will not be granted to individuals who have crossed 56 years of age by the application cutoff date.
Pay Scale
The selected candidates will be appointed in the Pay Matrix Level 2, which corresponds to:
- ₹19,900 – ₹63,200/- per month
This pay band is under the 7th Central Pay Commission guidelines and includes allowances as admissible under the government rules.
