Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- Rural Home Guard: Applicants must have completed at least 7th grade from a recognized educational institution.
- Urban Home Guard: Applicants must have passed 10th grade (Matriculation) from a recognized board.
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025)
- Minimum Age: 19 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- Applicants should be born between 01 January 1985 and 31 December 2006.
Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories, as per the guidelines of the Jharkhand State Government.
Physical Standards
Candidates must fulfill the physical requirements listed below to qualify for the recruitment process:
Height Criteria
- Male (General/OBC/BC): Minimum 162 cm
- Male (SC/ST): Minimum 157 cm
- Female (All Categories): Minimum 148 cm
Chest Measurement (for Males only)
- General/OBC/BC: Minimum 79 cm (unexpanded), 84 cm (expanded)
- SC/ST: Minimum 76 cm (unexpanded), 81 cm (expanded)
- Chest measurement is not applicable for female candidates.
Selection Process
