TRAI is India’s telecom watchdog, created by Parliament back in 1997. Based in New Delhi, it oversees all our phone, internet, and TV services. Think of them as the referee—making sure companies compete fairly, customers get a good deal, and the whole industry keeps growing without any problems.

Eligibility Criteria

And must fulfill one of the following:

  1. Holding an equivalent post in Pay Level-15 on a regular basis OR
  2. Having 4 years of regular service in Pay Level-14 OR
  3. Having 21 years of regular service in Group A, including at least 4 years in Pay Level-14.

Age Limit

  • Candidates applying on deputation must not be older than 58 years as of the application deadline.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary Structure: Level-15 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) Pay Matrix, corresponding to the pre-revised HAG scale of ₹67,000–₹79,000.
  • Perks and Benefits: Includes Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and other admissible benefits as per prevailing government norms.
