The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal, one of the apex healthcare institutions in India, has announced a contractual vacancy for the post of Junior Medical Officer under a significant multidisciplinary research project. This recruitment is being conducted by the Department of Psychiatry as part of a focused study to assess the environmental and health impact of changing forest ecosystems, particularly in the context of coal transportation infrastructure development.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must meet the essential and preferably the desirable qualifications as specified by AIIMS Bhopal.
Educational Qualification
- Essential:
- MBBS degree from a recognized Medical College/Institute approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC)
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC)/State Medical Council at the time of application.
- Desirable:
- MD in General Medicine or Community Medicine from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: Up to 30 years as on the date of interview.
- Relaxation in age is applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories as per Government of India norms.
Experience
- While prior experience is not explicitly mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have experience in public health research or psychiatric/community health-related projects.
Pay Scale / Remuneration
- The consolidated monthly salary is INR 60,000 (fixed).
- Compensation limited to basic pay only (no additional allowances/benefits).

Selection Process
- Selection will be made exclusively through Walk-in Interview.
