Eligibility Criteria
A. Educational Qualification:
- A recognized university qualification in Veterinary Science or Animal Husbandry is required.
B. Work Experience:
- A minimum of eight (08) years of hands-on experience in the scientific breeding, upkeep, and management of laboratory animals is essential.
C. Service Eligibility:
- Officers from Central/State Governments, UT Administrations, or Autonomous/Statutory Bodies holding analogous posts OR
- Candidates with 5 years of regular service in Level-10 (Pre-revised PB-3 ₹15,600–39,100 + GP ₹5,400/-) OR
- Completion of 8 years of continuous service in Level-6 (earlier Pay Band-2 ₹9,300–34,800 with Grade Pay of ₹4,200) is required.
Desirable Qualification:
- Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Genetics from a recognized university/institute.
Salary and Pay Scale
- Pay Level: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix
- Pre-revised Scale: PB-3 ₹15,600–39,100 + Grade Pay ₹6,600/-
