Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
- 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Qualified in Assam TET or Central TET (Lower Primary Level).
Additional Notes:
- Candidates with Graduation + D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed can also apply, but no extra marks will be given for a Graduation degree.
- Candidates with Not Clear (NC) status in any qualification are not eligible.
- Improvement in Higher Secondary (10+2) marks will only be considered if it was the first betterment attempt.

Weightage of Marks in Merit List
- Higher Secondary (10+2) Score – 5% of marks obtained

- TET Score (Lower Primary Level) – 85% of marks obtained
- Additional Marks (Maximum 5 Marks) for:
- NCC Certificate – 5 marks for “C” Certificate, 3 marks for “B” Certificate
- National-Level Sports Participation – 5 marks
- National-Level Fine Arts & Cultural Achievements – 5 marks
