Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a full-time diploma (3 years) or a higher qualification in:
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Equivalent trade from a Government-recognized university or institute
2. Age Limit (as of March 1, 2025)
- Minimum Age: 55 years
- Maximum Age: 62 years
3. Work Experience
Candidates should have extensive experience in bridge inspection, maintenance, or construction in:
- Indian Railways
- Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
- Metro Organizations
Additionally, candidates should:
- Have at least 15 years of supervisory-level experience in the relevant field.
- Be familiar with working in a computerized environment.
- Be free from any disciplinary actions or vigilance issues.
- For currently working candidates: They must opt for voluntary retirement (VRS) or resign before joining DMRC.

Selection Process
The selection process will go through different steps to find the right candidate. Here’s how it will work:
1. Personal Interview
Candidates will be assessed based on:
- Technical knowledge and expertise in bridge maintenance.
- Work experience and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of safety regulations and metro project requirements.
2. Medical Examination
Shortlisted candidates must pass a medical fitness test as per DMRC’s Aye-1 (A-1) category medical standards (minimum Aye-3).
3. Final Selection
Candidates must clear both Personal Interview & Medical Examination to be considered for final selection.
