Educational Qualification

- Full-time 3-year diploma or higher qualification in fields such as:
- For PRCE:
- A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in Signaling and Telecommunication (S&T) in Railways/CPSUs/Metro organizations.
Age Limit
- PRCE basis: Minimum 55 years and maximum 62 years
- Deputation basis: Maximum 55 years
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience in S&T department of Railways/CPSUs/Metro organizations, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Applicants from Railways/CPSUs/Metro organizations should have experience at a supervisory level and should be conversant with computer systems.
- Candidates currently in regular service must retire through VRS or otherwise before joining DMRC.
Pay Scale and Eligibility
- For Junior Engineer:
- Level-6 (Rs. 35400-112400) as per the 7th CPC or IDA pay scale of Rs. 37000-115000/-.
- Minimum 5 years of service at a supervisory level.
- For Section Engineer:
- Level-7 (Rs. 44900-142400) or IDA pay scale of Rs. 46000-145000/-.
- Minimum 5 years of service at a supervisory level.
- For Supervisors on PRCE:
- Retired from Level-6 or Level-7 or higher, with 5 years of supervisory experience in relevant fields.
Term of Engagement
- PRCE basis: Initial term of 1 year, extendable based on performance.
- Deputation basis: Normally 5 years, extendable to 7 years or until superannuation.
Pay and Emoluments
- Deputation basis: Candidates will continue to draw their parent department pay plus applicable deputation allowance.
- PRCE basis:
- Consolidated salary depending on the grade from which the candidate has retired.
Screening Process
- The selection process involves a personal interview and a medical fitness examination.
- Candidates must meet the medical standards (A-1 to A-3 category) as per DMRC’s medical examination guidelines.
