This is a Group “B”, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post, offering a promising opportunity for eligible government officers with legal qualifications and experience. The position will be filled in Level 7 of the Pay Matrix under the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Eligibility Criteria
A. For Deputation/Absorption:
Officials currently working in Central Government, State Government, or Union Territory departments:
- Regular incumbents of corresponding posts in the parent skeleton or department;
OR
Having completed five years of nonstop regular service in Level 6( ₹ 35,400- ₹) or original in the parent association. - Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from:
- A recognized university established by Central/State/Provincial Act
- An institution conferred university status by the Central Government
- A foreign university approved by the Central Government
- Minimum two years’ experience in legal matters in the Central Government, State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, or listed Private Sector Organizations.

Note:
- Only officials from the Central and State Governments shall be considered for absorption.
- The age ceiling for deputation posts is fixed at 56 years, reckoned with reference to the application cutoff date.
- The usual maximum period for deputation( comprising short- term contracts) is three times.
Pay Scale
- Level 7 in Pay Matrix: Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400
- Other allowances and service conditions will be governed as per existing Government of India rules.
Selection Process
- The selection will be conducted through Deputation/Absorption basis as per applicable government norms.
- Alert concurrence, APARs( last five times), Integrity Certificate, and details of penalties( if any) must be submitted with the operation.
