Educational Qualification & Eligibility Criteria
1. Professor
- Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant specialization.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years post-Ph.D. experience, including 4 years as an Associate Professor.
- Publications: At least 12 research papers, with 3 in top-tier Scopus Q1 or ABDC A/A journals*.
- Ph.D. Guidance: Should have supervised 5 Ph.D. students who have graduated, OR 4 completed Ph.D.s with one in an advanced stage.
- Research Grants: Should have led at least two major research projects as Principal Investigator.
2. Associate Professor
- Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant specialization.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years post-Ph.D. experience, including 3 years as an Assistant Professor.
- Publications: At least 6 research papers, with 2 in top-tier Scopus Q1 or ABDC A/A journals*.
- Ph.D. Guidance: Should have supervised 3 Ph.D. students, OR 2 Ph.D.s with one in an advanced stage.
- Research Grants: Should have led at least one major research project as Principal Investigator.
3. Assistant Professor
- Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant specialization.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years post-Ph.D. experience.
- Publications: At least 3 research papers, with 1 in top-tier Scopus Q1 or ABDC A/A journals.
- For candidates with less than 3 years experience: May be considered for contractual appointment with lower pay.
- For candidates awaiting Ph.D. award: May be appointed as Visiting Faculty on a contractual basis.
Pay Scale & Benefits
IGIDR follows the 7th Pay Commission pay scales:
