Salary and Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Must have an MBBS degree in the allopathic system of medicine from a recognized university approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Candidates with a postgraduate degree in General Medicine are also eligible to apply.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Practitioner in a hospital or clinic.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
- Application Screening
- NABARD will review applications to shortlist candidates based on qualifications and experience.
- Interview
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at BIRD, Mangaluru.
- The interview panel will assess medical knowledge, experience, and suitability for the role.
- Medical Fitness Test
- Selected candidates must undergo a medical fitness test before final appointment.
- Final Selection & Contract Signing
- Candidates will be appointed after accepting the terms and conditions of NABARD.
Roles and Responsibilities
The selected Bank’s Medical Officer (BMO) will be responsible for providing medical consultation and healthcare services to NABARD employees and their dependents. Key duties include:
- Providing medical consultation and treatment during dispensary hours.
- Administering basic medical procedures such as injections, dressings, and first aid.
- Issuing prescriptions and medical recommendations for NABARD employees.
- Referring patients to specialists and hospitals if required.
- Conducting medical check-ups and fitness tests for employees.
- Organizing health check-up camps and awareness programs.
- Maintaining medical confidentiality and following NABARD’s medical guidelines.
