Eligibility Criteria
A. Who Can Apply
Officers from the Central Government, State Government, or Union Territory Administrations who meet the following conditions are eligible.
B. Experience Criteria
- Officers holding similar posts on regular base in the parent skeleton or department,
OR - Officers with five times of regular service in Level- 6 of the Pay Matrix( ₹ 35,400 – ₹) or original in the parent skeleton or department.
C. Educational Qualifications and Work Experience
Option 1:
- Degree in any one of the following disciplines from a recognized university or institute:
- Jute Technology
- Mechanical Engineering
- Textile Engineering
- Textile Technology
- Textile Manufacture
AND
- Minimum two years’ experience in:
- A jute mill in a technical role, or
- Textile engineering works, or
- A technical institute in the field of textile engineering or technology
Option 2:
- Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma in:
- Jute Technology
- Mechanical Engineering
- Textile Engineering
- Textile Technology
- Textile Manufacture
AND
- Minimum two years’ experience in:
- A jute mill in a technical role, or
- Textile engineering works, or
- A technical institute in the field of textile engineering or technology
Additional Conditions
- Officers in the direct line of creation are n’t eligible for deputation.
- Period of deputation should not exceed three years.
- Maximum age limit is 56 years as on the closing date of application (1st July 2025).

The selected officer will also be entitled to standard allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Transport Allowance as applicable to Central Government employees.
