Rail Wheel Factory (RWF), Bangalore, has announced its apprenticeship recruitment for the year 2024-25 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This is a golden opportunity for ITI graduates to gain hands-on experience in various technical trades at a reputed government organization.

Eligibility Criteria
A. Age Limit (as of 01.03.2025)
- Minimum Age: 15 years
- Maximum Age: 24 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
B. Educational Qualification
- Class 10th pass with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board
- National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the respective trade issued by NCVT
C. Physical Fitness Requirements
- Candidates must meet the medical fitness standards as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.
- PwBD candidates must fulfill eligibility criteria for their respective disabilities as per government norms.
D. Employment Exchange Registration
- Candidates must be registered with a local employment exchange in Karnataka.
- Wards of railway employees (working across India) are exempted from this requirement.
Pay Scale & Training Duration
- Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Turner, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic: ₹12,261 per month (Training Duration: 1 year)
- CNC Programming-cum-Operator: ₹10,899 per month (Training Duration: 6 months)
6. Selection Process
The selection process is based on merit and does not involve any examination or interview.
1. Merit List Criteria
- Prepared based on marks obtained in Class 10th (minimum 50% required).
- Candidates with higher percentage will be given preference.
2. Tie-Breaking Rules
- If two candidates have the same marks, the older candidate will be given preference.
- If both age and marks are the same, the one who passed 10th earlier will be preferred.
3. Medical Examination
- Selected candidates must clear a medical fitness test before final confirmation.
