The University of Mumbai invites online applications from eligible Graduate and Diploma holders for One-Year Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 (as amended). The training will be supervised by the Board of Apprenticeship Training – Western Region (BOAT-WR).
This is an excellent opportunity for freshers to gain hands-on experience in a respected academic institution.

Educational Qualification
- Finance & Accounts Assistant:
- Graduate in Commerce from a recognized university
- Preference: Tally, Typing, and MS-CIT certification
- Lower Grade Stenographer:
- Graduate in any stream
- Preference: Stenography (English & Marathi) certificate
- Jr. Engineer (Civil):
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Jr. Engineer (Electrical):
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Law Assistant:
- Graduate in Law
- Preference: Typing and MS-CIT certification
- Lab Assistant:
- Graduate in Science
- Preference: Typing and MS-CIT certification
- Library Assistant:
- Graduate in Library Science
- Preference: Typing and MS-CIT certification
- Electrician:
- Diploma in Electrical work
- Carpenter:
- Diploma in Carpentry
- Plumber:

Age & Nationality
- The age limit for applicants will adhere to the regulations outlined in the Apprenticeship Rules.
- Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
Training Duration
- The apprenticeship program will last for one year, as per the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act, 1973.
Eligibility Restrictions for Work Experience
Applicants are not eligible to apply if they:
- Have already completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training elsewhere.
- Have more than one year of work experience.
Selection Process
- Applicants will be selected on the basis of their educational qualifications and achievements.
- Interview invitations will be extended exclusively to candidates who have been shortlisted.
- The final selection will be made based on merit and interview performance.

- Once registered, search for the University of Mumbai and apply for the desired post.
- Ensure to submit your application before the closing date.
