IBPS RRB Age Limit 2024 (Effective as of 01/06/2024):
- Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager): 21 to 40 years
- Officer Scale-II (Manager): 21 to 32 years
- Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager): 18 to 30 years
- Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 18 to 28 years
- Upper Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and an additional 10 years for PWD
IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2024
✔️ Office Assistant (Multipurpose):
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent.
- Essential: Proficiency in the local language as specified by the participating RRB(s).
- Desirable: Working knowledge of computers.
✔️ Officer Scale-I:
(1)Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent are eligible. Preference will be given to those with degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy.
(2)Proficiency in the local language as specified by the participating RRB(s) is required.
(3) Having familiarity with computers or computer literacy will be considered an additional asset.
✔️ Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer):
(1) A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks. Candidates with degrees in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, and Accountancy will be given preference.
(2) At least two years of experience as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
✔️ Officer Scale-II (Information Technology Officer):
(1) Possess a degree from a recognized University in Electronics, Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent, with at least 50% aggregate marks.
(2) Preferred: Hold certifications in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP, or similar.
(3) Have at least one year of relevant field experience.
✔️ Officer Scale-II (Chartered Accountant):
(1) Hold a Certified Associate (CA) credential from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
(2) Possess one year of experience working as a Chartered Accountant.
✔️ Officer Scale-II (Law Officer):
(1) Hold a degree from a recognized University in Law or its equivalent, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
(2) Demonstrate at least two years of experience as an advocate or as a Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions.
✔️ Officer Scale-II (Treasury Manager):
(1) Possess either a Certified Associate (CA) qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or an MBA in Finance from a recognized university/institution.
(2) Have a minimum of one year of experience in the relevant field.
✔️ Officer Scale-II (Marketing Officer):
(1) Possess an MBA in Marketing from a recognized university.
(2) Have a minimum of one year of experience in the relevant field.
✔️ Officer Scale-II (Agricultural Officer):
(1) Hold a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, or Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
(2) Demonstrate at least two years of experience in the relevant field.
✔️ Officer Scale-III:
(1) Hold a degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. IBPS RRB Selection Process 2024
The RRBs Common Written Examination (CWE) will be conducted online, followed by an interview. Candidates selected in the CWE – RRBs-X examination will then proceed to an interview, organized in collaboration with the designated Nodal Regional Rural Bank in each State/UT. IBPS will oversee the coordination in consultation with the relevant authorities.
