The Indian Navy has announced the 2023 notification for Agniveer (SSR) – 02/2024 and Agniveer (MR) – 02/2024 batches, available in the Employment News Paper and on the official Indian Navy website. Unmarried Indian citizens, both men and women, who meet the eligibility criteria, can apply online to fill more than 1500 vacancies for Agniveer (SSR) and Agniveer (MR) positions in the Indian Navy.
Only unmarried Indian males and females are eligible to enroll as Agniveer in the Indian Navy. Candidates who have completed at least the 12th grade can apply for the Indian Navy Agniveer vacancies. The online registration for Indian Navy Agniveer 2024 will be available on the Join Indian Navy Recruitment Portal (agniveernavy.cdac.in), starting from 13th May 2024. The deadline for submitting online applications is 27th May 2024.

Indian Navy Agniveer Salary: AGNIVEERVAYU enrolled in this scheme will receive a monthly Agniveer package starting at ₹30,000, with fixed annual increments. Additional benefits include Risk and Hardship allowances (as applicable in IAF), as well as Dress and Travel allowances.

Indian Navy Agniveer Eligibility Criteria:
- Agniveer (SSR): Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education (Matriculation with 12th grade) with Mathematics and Physics, along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, or Computer Science, from a board recognized by the government.
- Agniveer (MR): Applicants should have passed the Matriculation Examination from boards approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
- Agniveer (MR – Musician): Candidates need to have at least a Matriculation pass and demonstrate musical talent. This includes showing proficiency in tempo and pitch, as well as the ability to perform a complete song.
Indian Navy Agniveer Selection Process:
Indian Navy Agniveer Exam Details 2024: The exam will be conducted online and will consist of 50 questions, each carrying 01 mark. It will be available in both Hindi & English and will cover two sections: ‘Science & Mathematics’ and ‘General Awareness’. The difficulty level is equivalent to 10th-grade standards. Syllabus and sample papers are accessible on agniveernavy.cdac.in. The exam duration is 30 minutes. Candidates must pass all sections and achieve an overall passing score, with pass marks set by the Indian Navy. Negative marking applies, deducting one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to the question for each incorrect answer. Centre allocation for the INET (online examination) is determined by the Indian Navy.

Indian Navy Agniveer Physical Standards:
- Minimum Height Requirements: Male – 157 cm, Female – 152 cm
- Visual Standards: Without Glasses (Better Eye 6/6, Worse Eye 6/9), With Glasses (Better Eye 6/6, Worse Eye 6/6).
- Tattoo Policy: Permanent body tattoos are only allowed on the inner face of forearms.
