The Chief Minister Rajshri Yojana, introduced by the Rajasthan Government, is designed to foster a positive perspective on girls in society and enhance their health and education. Through this scheme, families receive a total of ₹50,000 in six different installments. This financial support starts from the birth of a girl child and continues until she completes her 12th grade. To be eligible, the girl must have been born in a state government or Janani Suraksha Yojana-approved private medical facility on or after June 1, 2016.
Objective of Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana
The primary objective of the Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana 2024 is to bring about a positive change in societal attitudes towards daughters. Financial Assistance Under Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana
The Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana provides a substantial financial assistance amounting to ₹50,000 to each eligible girl. This amount is disbursed in six installments, aligned with key milestones in the girl’s life, from birth to her education:
- First Installment: ₹2,500 upon the birth of the girl child.
- Second Installment: ₹2,500 upon completion of all necessary vaccinations by the girl’s first birthday.
- Third Installment: ₹4,000 upon the girl’s admission to the first grade.
- Fourth Installment: ₹5,000 upon the girl’s admission to the sixth grade.
- Fifth Installment: ₹11,000 upon the girl’s admission to the tenth grade.
- Sixth Installment: ₹25,000 upon the girl’s admission to the twelfth grade.
Eligibility Criteria for Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana
To avail the benefits of the Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana, the following eligibility criteria must be met:
- Residency: The girl must be a resident of Rajasthan.
- Date of Birth: The girl’s date of birth should be on or after June 1, 2016.
- Aadhar and Jan Aadhar Cards: It is mandatory for the girl’s parents to possess Aadhar and Jan Aadhar cards.
- Birthplace: The girl should be born in a government hospital or a private medical institution registered under the Janani Suraksha Yojana.
- Educational Institution: The girl must be enrolled in a government-recognized educational institution.
