5. Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria vary by position:
- Dietician: B.Sc. in Science with a Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics or B.Sc. in Home Science with M.Sc. in Food and Nutrition.
- Staff Nurse: Certificate as a Registered Nurse and Midwife with a 3-year General Nursing and Midwifery course, or a B.Sc. in Nursing.
- Dental Hygienist: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with specialization in Biology, 2-year Diploma/Certificate Program in Dental Hygiene, and 2 years of experience.
- Dialysis Technician: B.Sc. Degree with Diploma in Haemodialysis or 2 years of hands-on experience in Haemodialysis.
- Extension Educator: Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology/Social Work or related fields plus a 2-year diploma in Health Education.
- Health and Malaria Inspector Grade III: B.Sc. with Chemistry or one-year Diploma in Health/Sanitary Inspection.
- Lab Superintendent Grade III: B.Sc. in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Life Science or a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology.
- Optometrist: B.Sc. in Optometry or a Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician.
- Perfusionist: B.Sc. with Diploma in Perfusion Technology or 3 years of experience as a Cardio Pulmonary Pump Technician.
- Physiotherapist: Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy and 2 years of practical experience.
